Celebrating lice free holidays

We believe baking cookies is a great way to celebrate, and nothing better than celebrating that we don’t have lice or we have been treated to kill them! Spend the afternoon with your kids baking this simple recipe cookies. This cookie recipe is not only easy but healthy.

How to make flour less chocolate cookies?

In order to make this delicious and gluten free cookies you will need:

1 cup of peanut butter

1 egg

2/3 cup of coconut sugar

4 tablespoons of cocoa powder

1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees while you and your kids get ready to prepare the cookies. Have children’s aprons handy and make a chef hat with a sheet of paper and a staple. Your children would love to feel like they are the chefs of the night! Put them to work in a table away from the oven so that is safe for them. Prepare all the ingredients on a clean surface or place cooking sheet paper on top of the table.

We will mix the coconut sugar, peanut butter and the vanilla extract in a bowl first. Once the children have been preparing that mix, they can start mixing the cocoa powder and baking soda in a different bowl. Stir the ingredients from both bowls together. Ask your children to beat the egg and add it to the mix.

We will now start creating the cookies with little balls of dough and add in 3-5 chocolate chips in each. If you want you can always create a larger dough and cut it later with a cookie shaped cutter. Bake for 6-8 minutes and let it rest. You can always add some Christmas decorations to them – maybe some natural green frosting.

Enjoy your cookies with your children and celebrate the fact that this Christmas you beat the battle with head lice! Celebrate lice free holidays baking cookies.
